Platforms A, B and C are three of the major ticketing platforms Australian organisers compare, drawn from their public pricing and help pages as at 5 July 2026. One publishes its fees but only shows the all-in total deep in checkout; one keeps organiser pricing behind its own pages; one does not publish organiser pricing at all. Compare totals for your own ticket price with the calculator above.
Pricing FAQ
Common pricing questions
What counts as a paid ticket?
Any ticket with a price above zero is a paid ticket. Free tickets and complimentary tickets issued by the organiser are not charged a platform fee. Free events have zero platform fees permanently.
Who pays the booking fee, the organiser or the buyer?
You choose. When you create your event, you can set whether the booking fee is absorbed into your ticket price (organiser pays) or passed on as a separate line item at checkout (buyer pays). Either way, buyers always see the full amount before confirming their purchase. No surprises.
What currencies do you support?
You can price your event in Australian dollars, British pounds, US dollars, Canadian dollars, and Euros. Buyers outside your currency will see their card issuer's exchange rate applied by their bank. EventLinqs does not add a currency conversion fee.
When do I get paid after my event?
Payouts are initiated within 5 business days of your event ending, to your linked bank account. Bank processing typically adds 1 to 3 business days on top. Payouts require Stripe identity verification to be completed before your first payout can be sent.
What payment methods do buyers use?
Buyers can pay with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Stripe Link. Available methods vary slightly by device and browser.
Do you charge a fee for refunds?
EventLinqs does not charge a separate refund processing fee. If a refund is issued, the platform fee is refunded to the buyer. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe may not be recoverable in all cases. For events cancelled by the organiser, EventLinqs refunds the full amount including service fees.
